Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Director, Divisional Quality Audit & Supplier Quality Programs to lead strategic quality initiatives across a global network of sites and suppliers.

You will drive risk-based auditing, strengthen compliance, and develop high-performing teams that support operational excellence, patient safety, and enterprise-wide quality strategy. Extensive travel and collaboration with regulatory affairs and manufacturing teams are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, or a related regulated industry.
• 7+ years leadership experience and 5+ years auditing experience.
• Prior experience within the medical device industry is required; pharmaceutical/biologics experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements governing medical device manufacturing; pharmaceutical and biologics knowledge preferred.
• Proven success leading large-scale quality, regulatory, or manufacturing organizations with complex compliance issues.
• Experience leading regulatory inspections and audit programs across global operations, including FDA inspections.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% internationally and domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead the divisional internal audit program, including strategy, planning, execution oversight, and governance across manufacturing, compounding, and design sites.
• Monitor audit results, quality risks, and inspection outcomes to identify systemic issues.
• Oversee a global auditor network, including auditor qualification, development, and program effectiveness.
• Partner with site and functional leaders to support inspection readiness and remediation activities.
• Provide leadership for supplier quality programs, including supplier risk management and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Operations to strengthen quality systems and supplier oversight across the organization.
• Lead and develop teams across multiple programs while balancing quality, compliance, and operational priorities.
• Communicate quality program performance and risks to senior and executive leadership.
