Job summary

Semtech is seeking a qualified Quality Auditor/Lead Auditor to manage the Quality Management System (QMS) across multiple sites. You will lead internal audits, drive CAPA resolution, and support PCN and EOL processes while contributing to continual quality improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least five years of electronics/quality experience, with Lead Auditor certifications and RCA experience. Travel is 10–20% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, materials science, semiconductor fabrication or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronics engineering, manufacturing, or quality, preferably in high-tech electronics, with internal audits and CAPA participation.
• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 – required.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) including 8D, FMEA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct internal audits across multiple sites globally according to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 (35%).
• Write audit reports and communicate results to management; follow up on nonconformances and ensure CAPA closure (35%).
• Manage CAPA process (10%).
• Manage calibration process (5%).
• Coordinate and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (5%).
• Handle other Quality/QMS responsibilities: PCN, EOL, Waivers (10%).
