Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Global QC Product Lead to guide analytical methods across its global QC network. You will align R&D, PDS&T, QC Operations, and regulatory affairs to ensure compliant, scalable methods for late-stage and commercial products.

The role requires deep lifecycle expertise, risk-based judgment, and the ability to lead across a global matrix without direct authority. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with extensive industry experience.
• Progressive leadership in analytical development, QC, validation, or method transfer.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, data integrity, and regulatory expectations for QC.

Responsibilities

• Lead global QC analytical implementation and lifecycle strategy for late-stage and commercial products.
• Represent QC as a key decision-maker in product, CMC, analytical, validation, and transfer discussions.
• Translate development strategies into robust, compliant QC approaches for routine use.
• Provide scientific leadership for method validation, transfer, investigations, and lifecycle management.
• Mentor QC scientists and communicate complex technical matters to leadership.
