Job summary

BERO is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance to build and lead the global quality function across all brewing and co-packing sites. This hands-on leadership role sets quality standards, ensures sensory/flavor consistency, and maintains food safety compliance across the US and UK, with expansion plans.

Qualifications

• Experience leading QA in beverage manufacturing or similar food/beverage industries.
• Strong knowledge of FDA and TTB regulations and compliance.
• Experience running multi-site QA programs and supplier oversight.
• Proven ability to implement CAPA and root-cause analysis.
• Experience implementing sensory programs and product specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce unified quality specs across brewing partners.
• Audit contract brewers and co-packers; conduct batch reviews.
• Ensure FDA/TTB and UK/EU compliance across markets.
• Establish sensory panels and tasting protocols.
• Build scalable QA/QC systems (HACCP, GMP, batch records).
• Lead root-cause investigations and CAPA.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, R&D/Brewing, and Commercial teams on launches.
• Hire and manage QA leads and oversee the quality budget.
• Prepare for retailer audits and certifications.
