Job summary

Duluth Trading Company is seeking a Director of QA & Compliance to lead global QA, product integrity, and regulatory programs. The role ensures every Duluth product meets quality promises and regulatory requirements while collaborating across product lines.

Based at our Duluth HQ near Madison, WI, the role supervises QA teams, partners with design and sourcing, and drives continuous improvement across suppliers and manufacturing processes to uphold durability and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Apparel/Textile- Product Development, Quality Management or Engineering.
• 10+ Years of experience in QA and compliance leadership.
• 5+ Years of management experience.
• 10+ years of US retail QA and compliance leadership with multi-category experience.
• 3+ years managing Fulfillment QA in the US is preferred.
• Proven track record of QA programs in global manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA and compliance strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Lead and manage QA systems and inspection protocols.
• Ensure adherence to standards throughout manufacturing processes.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and optimize production.
• Lead factory certification program and supplier QA scorecards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sourcing and logistics.
• Manage product safety, social compliance, and environmental audit programs.
