Abbott is seeking an experienced PR Manager to Join the Public Affairs team in Alameda, CA. You will lead international storytelling for Abbott’s diabetes care, partner with stakeholders worldwide, and drive external communication strategies for product launches and key data.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in journalism, PR, communications, business, marketing or related field.
6+ years of experience in public relations, media relations and/or communications.
Experience with thought leadership and corporate reputation programs.
Experience counseling senior management and developing compelling content.

Responsibilities

Set international PR strategy and storytelling for Abbott's diabetes business.
Support external PR for product launches, clinical data and influencer programs.
Manage global, integrated campaigns to strengthen Abbott's leadership in diabetes care.
Collaborate with reporters to protect and advance company reputation and business goals.
Develop strategy and provide counsel to leaders across the business.
Create multimedia, social and digital content to complement campaigns.
