Job summary

Proexec Consulting Inc. is seeking an engineer to lead design, coordinate projects, and execute initiatives across Chicago and field sites, including Morocco.

The role involves preparing drawings, specifications, and calculations, tracking schedules and budgets, and collaborating with project leadership to resolve issues. Travel 40–50% is expected, with hands-on experience in both design and construction environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Materials, or related).
• 3–5 years of engineering or project experience (internships/co-ops acceptable).
• Deep knowledge of engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed (40-50%).
• Languages: Fluent in English and Mandarin (Professional Working Proficiency)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and review of engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Support project coordination by tracking schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Work with the project leadership team to resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Participate in on-site activities, including inspections, progress tracking, and contractor coordination.
• Support the procurement activities such as reviewing technical submittals and vendor documentation.
• Maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting notes, and change tracking.
• Contribute to capturing lessons learned and standardizing best practices across projects.
• Prepare status updates, progress reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
