Job summary

Givaudan in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Production Planner to build production plans for intermediates and finished goods, ensuring on-time supply to customers and optimal inventory levels. You will translate schedules into executable plans and collaborate with Quality, Logistics, Scheduling, and Production teams to meet targets.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or related field and 2–3 years in supply planning or production planning; APICS is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, business administration or equivalent.
2–3 years experience in supply planning, supply chain, production planning; knowledge of production planning, inventory management, capacity analysis, demand planning.
APICS is a plus
Experience in flavour/ingredient/fragrance industry is a plus
Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt preferred

Responsibilities

Create executable production plans following productivity and service targets.
Maintain inventory levels in line with targets and minimize write-offs.
Manage supply issues with internal stakeholders and leaders.
Review MRP and capacity to ensure on-time customer response and product availability.
Track and review customer orders for production and resale demands.
Collaborate with teams across Production, Scheduling, Logistics, Quality and Supply Planning.
