Responsibilities

  • Develop or improve procedures and BKMs for servicing new products.
  • Contribute to the FMECA process and risk assessment.
  • Participate in or lead first chamber Build & Test in Apps lab.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and work with Engineering to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to create procedures for new product testing.
  • Partner with Q&R to review Top Field Issues and implement fixes.
  • Participate in CAPA process and document actions.
  • Conduct or guide Failure Analysis as needed.
  • Create installation, retrofit and maintenance procedures and manuals.
  • Develop CENs, ISBs, and troubleshooting guides as required.
  • Collect process data to create BKMs and optimize performance.
  • Develop initial training materials and coordinate with GTT for training sessions.
  • Train Customer Engineers, Process Engineers, and TPS assigned to customers prior to shipments.
  • Identify parts stock needs and coordinate with AGS to ensure proper stocking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new procedures and Best-Known Methods (BKMs) to service new products.
  • Contribute to the FMECA process.
  • Participate in, or own, first chamber Build & Test in Apps lab.
  • Solve issues, or work with Engineering to address issues identified.
  • Work with Manufacturing to develop procedures and participate (if required) on New Product final test.
  • Partner with Quality & Reliability (Q&R) group to review and address Top Field Issues.
  • Participate in, or own, CAPA process.
  • Conduct or facilitate Failure Analysis (FA) if needed.
  • Develop and document procedures to install (start-up), retrofit and maintain the product (Technical Product Manuals).
  • Develop new procedures, Customer Engineering Notices (CENs), Internal Service Bulletins (ISBs) and troubleshooting guides as required.
  • Collect process and qualification data to create product Best Known Methods (BKMs).
  • Develop initial training package for new products and work with Global Technical Training (GTT) to develop training class.
  • Train Customer Engineers (CEs), Process Engineers (PSEs) and Technical Product Support (TPS) assigned to customers who will receive ELS Shipments, prior to shipping.
  • Identify new parts that require to be stocked by AGS and work with them to ensure parts are stocked in correct locations.

Additional Skills

Capable and experienced in the use of hand tools (e.g. Wrenches, drivers) and electronic diagnostic tools (e.g. Oscilloscopes, Multimeters). Skilled in working with hands and be able to read and follow design schematics (electrical, pneumatic, gas). Familiar and experienced with Microsoft Office suite, using Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel. Capable to perform electronic device diagnostic analysis when given Hardware to diagnose electric motors, High Power delivery Systems, Gas Flow systems.

  • The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.

  • For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
