Molex is seeking a Global Product Manager to lead the CuOperate strategy, development, and commercialization for AI infrastructure, hyperscale computing, and networking applications. You will guide CuOperate from incubation to market, partnering with hyperscalers, OEMs, silicon providers, and optics companies.

This role blends product management, new product development, business development, and technology strategy to position CuOperate as a preferred solution in next-generation AI system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Datacom, AI infrastructure, networking, optics, semiconductor, or high-speed interconnect markets.
  • Experience in Product Management, New Product Development, Business Development, Product Engineering, Technical Marketing, or Sales.
  • Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the CuOperate product strategy, roadmap, and business plan.
  • Lead new product development from concept through commercialization.
  • Define market requirements and prioritize opportunities based on customer/industry needs.
  • Build relationships with hyperscalers, OEMs, ODMs, silicon providers, optics companies, and partners.
  • Drive design wins, proofs-of-concept, and platform engagements.
  • Shape positioning, value props, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Represent Molex in industry standards organizations and ecosystem activities.
  • Develop business cases and support investment decisions for ipc/ growth initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Monitor market trends and guide future product strategy.

Your Job

Molex is seeking a Global Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and commercialization of CuOperate, our next-generation connectivity platform supporting Near Package Optics (NPO) and Near Package Copper (NPC) architectures for AI infrastructure, hyperscale computing, and networking applications.

This highly visible role combines product management, new product development, business development, and technology strategy. The successful candidate will help guide CuOperate from early-stage market incubation through commercialization by working closely with hyperscalers, OEMs, silicon providers, optics companies, and industry partners.

Success in this role requires strong technical and commercial judgement, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to influence customers, partners, and internal teams while helping establish CuOperate as a preferred solution for next-generation AI system architectures.

Our Team

The Molex Copper Solutions business develops high-speed connectivity technologies for the world's most advanced AI, cloud, and networking platforms.

The Advanced Products team focuses on identifying emerging market opportunities, developing differentiated technologies, and creating new growth platforms. We work closely with customers and industry leaders to bring innovative solutions from concept to commercialization.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and business plan for the CuOperate product family.
  • Lead new product development activities from concept through commercialization.
  • Define market requirements and prioritize development opportunities based on customer and industry needs.
  • Build strong relationships with hyperscalers, OEMs, ODMs, silicon providers, optical module companies, and strategic partners.
  • Drive customer adoption, design wins, proof-of-concept activities, and platform engagements.
  • Shape product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Represent Molex in relevant industry standards organizations, consortiums, and ecosystem development activities.
  • Develop business cases and support investment decisions related to product development, capacity, and growth initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor market trends, emerging architectures, and competitive activity to guide future product strategy.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Datacom, AI infrastructure, networking, optics, semiconductor, or high-speed interconnect market.
  • Experience in Product Management, New Product Development, Business Development, Product Engineering, Technical Marketing, or Sales.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers, AI infrastructure companies, networking OEMs, optics suppliers, or silicon providers.
  • Experience commercializing new technologies or leading products from concept through launch.
  • Knowledge of NPO, NPC, CPO, optical interconnects, high-speed connectors, cable assemblies, or AI system architectures.

For this role, we anticipate paying $140,000 - $160,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
