Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and logistics and working with vendors and service providers.
• Experience with asset management process.
• Experience working with IOM/UN Procurement and Logistics Rules and Procedures is an advantage.
• Experience working in an international organisation an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive and consolidate all procurement requisitions and verify information.
• Assist supervisors in more complex, higher‑value purchases.
• Prepare tender documents, solicit bids/quotations, and coordinate approvals.
• Monitor status of open requisitions and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Review vendor invoices, prepare payment requests and coordinate with Finance for payments.
• Create/maintain records of procurement from start to finish and prepare reports.
• Conduct market surveys to identify potential suppliers and evaluate quality/prices.
• Track contractual agreements and inform stakeholders for renewals; manage office supplies.
• Provide briefing and guidance to staff on procurement procedures.
• Perform supply chain tasks related to warehousing, insurance, maintenance and transport.
• Coordinate fleet operations: daily vehicle schedule and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide training and guidance to junior SCM staff and supervise their development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
