GTI Fabrication in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support transactional purchasing, supplier communications, and reporting within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes coordination with Receiving, Warehouse, AP, and Planning teams, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates to leadership. Strong Excel and ERP skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years coordination, purchasing support, customer service, or admin experience.
• Strong Excel, ERP, and data accuracy skills.
• Strong communication and follow-up discipline.

Responsibilities

• Transactional Purchasing Support: Confirm pricing, quantities, dates, and vendor acknowledgements; Update supplier delivery dates and order notes accurately.
• Reporting & Visibility: Maintain reports on open POs, shortages, late deliveries, and supplier commitments; Provide daily updates to buyers, planners, and leadership teams; Support KPI reporting related to supplier delivery and purchasing execution.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Communicate with Receiving, Warehouse, AP, and Planning teams to resolve issues; Support documentation for new vendors, onboarding, and compliance records; Assist with scheduling supplier calls and meetings.

Position Overview

GTI is a contract manufacturing partner supporting customers in renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, and industrial systems.

We fabricate custom designed, purpose-built enclosures and skids for our customers and perform mechanical and electrical integration in-house, delivering a true turn-key product to our customers. Our scope spans Engineering, prototype builds, through full production, requiring teams that can move fast, adapt, and execute with precision.

Key Responsibilities

Transactional Purchasing Support

• Confirm pricing, quantities, dates, and vendor acknowledgements
• Update supplier delivery dates and order notes accurately
