Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree required.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail under stress.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Plan and design manufacturing processes and production workflows for the new solid rocket motor facility.
• Prepare plans, process specifications and procedures.
• Work with tooling engineer to implement fixtures, tooling and equipment.
• Prepare labor and tooling/equipment estimates for proposals.
• Conduct tests and analyze new manufacturing methods, materials, or standards.
• Evaluate data and recommend process improvements.
• Write complete and accurate work instructions.
• Support production activities.
