Job summary

TekWissen is seeking a Calibration Engineer to support engine calibration for North America and global markets. You will calibrate engines, manage schedules, and perform data analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 1+ years of engine calibration experience, with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and C/C++ proficiency. On-site in Ann Arbor, MI, with equal opportunity employer statement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1+ year experience in engine calibration and related activities.
• Strong knowledge of internal combustion engine theory and practice.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Python and C/C++ programming.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.
• Understanding of Emission/OBD regulations and calibration processes.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate engine controls for North America and global markets.
• Complete engine calibration to meet regulations and performance targets.
• Prepare and manage calibration and resource schedules to meet deadlines.
• Test preparation, data collection, analysis, and technical reporting.
• Build relationships with calibration technician group.
• Conduct vehicle testing under extreme environmental conditions.
• Complete internal training and perform software logic and value confirmation.
