Job summary

BBC Studios is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Development for the plush category, leading design strategy and line development from our New York office. The role requires driving innovation, setting standards, and coordinating with internal teams and licensees to deliver high‑quality plush products.

You will oversee 3D patterning, textile choices, and production workflows, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and market needs in North America and Latin America.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Product Development experience, 2+ years in plush/toys.
• Experience designing preschool licensed plush for NA and LatAm.
• Hands-on design experience in licensing/entertainment.
• Advanced proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Proficiency with AI tools for concepts and mockups.

Responsibilities

• Architect plush design playbooks to ensure consistent character execution.
• Establish a plush center of excellence for design and materials.
• Collaborate with licensing sales and internal teams to align strategy.
• Provide production-ready artwork and mockups for licenses.
• Partner with vendors and regional teams to ensure brand integrity.
