Job summary

Starboard Cruise Services is seeking an Associate Planning Manager to oversee forecasting, purchasing and inventory management for a global supply chain. You will lead a small distributor team, partner with Merchandising and Finance to build annual plans and adjust them through the Open-to-Buy process.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Cruise Line Retail and Finance to optimize stock, margins and service levels on ships and DCs, with a focus on improving forecasting accuracy and inventory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4-6 years of experience in planning or supply chain preferred.
• Strong forecasting, purchasing and inventory management skills.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual sales, stock and profit plans in collaboration with Merchandising, Cruise Line Retail and Finance.
• Create monthly purchasing budgets aligned with cash objectives, by program/brand for the year.
• Monitor, forecast and adjust sales receipts and margin during Open‑to‑Buy cycles.
• Lead a team of Distributors (1–4) to manage forecasting, stock, and deliveries.
• Collaborate with Merchants on assortment strategies, pricing and product mix.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive profitability across the supply chain.
