Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate Pharmacist internship in Texas to complete US internship hours and pursue licensure within 18 months. You will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, engaging in patient care, counseling, regulatory compliance, and team leadership to support safe retail pharmacy operations.

You will develop skills across patient care programs, workflow management, and cross-functional collaboration while preparing for pharmacist licensure

Qualifications

• Foreign graduates must obtain Pharmacist licensure in the state after completing US intern hours.
• Required US internship within 18 months of starting the role.
• Ability to work under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist pharmacy and front-store staff.
• Process prescriptions and translate SIG codes as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and CVS policies.
• Support inventory management and workflow efficiency.
• Lead with empathy to foster a caring store environment.
• Coordinate training of Pharmacy Support Staff and promote teamwork.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety in all activities.
