Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacist Intern/Foreign Graduate to join our retail pharmacy team. Under supervision, you will complete US internship hours, develop patient care skills, and participate in regulatory compliance while delivering safe, quality care to patients.

You will receive a curated learning plan, including immunization preparation, practice management, and leadership development, with the goal of licensure within 120 days after internship completion.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Licensure: Pharmacist licensure in the state where the position is based or eligible to obtain.
• Completion of US Intern hours within regulatory timelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in-store and at drive-thru, addressing questions and concerns.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and CVS policies.
• Process prescriptions, translate SIG codes, and manage labeling and refills.
• Resolve third-party rejections and assist with insurance claims.
• Support pharmacy operations and inventory management.
• Provide counseling under supervision of a licensed pharmacist and participate in ongoing training.
