Job summary

Teledyne is seeking a Payroll Systems Administrator to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy across the organization. This role focuses on streamlining payroll processes, leveraging advanced payroll systems, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

There is growth potential to expand into global payroll operations. Ideal candidate has 3–5 years of payroll or HRIS experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with multi-country payroll platforms such as ADP EV6/WFM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of payroll or HRIS systems experience.
  • Experience in global payroll operations or multi-country payroll platforms (ADP EV6 and WFM are a plus).
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
  • U.S. Person status, as defined by U.S. export control laws

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize payroll processes to drive efficiencies and accuracy.
  • Administer and maintain payroll systems (ADP Ev6, ADP WFM), ensuring data integrity and complaince.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to identify process improvements and implement automation.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports to support decision-making and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new payroll features.
  • Act as the primary liaison with payroll system vendors, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to HR and Finance staff on payroll system functionality.
  • Contribute to projects that prepare the organization for global payroll expansion
