Job summary

Ideal Tridon is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead multi-state payroll operations, initially in Auburn Hills, MI or Smyrna, TN. The role will expand to payroll for US and eventually global operations, partnering with Finance and HR to modernize processes.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 5–8+ years of payroll experience, and expertise with ADP and Excel. Certification as a Payroll Professional is preferred. This is a full-time role in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area is required.
• 5-8+ years of payroll experience including multi-state payroll administration.
• Experience in manufacturing or multi-site operations.
• Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll operations end-to-end for all employees (hourly, salary, international if applicable).
• Ensure accurate wage calculations, tax withholdings and deductions across cycles.
• Interface between finance and HR to provide accurate payroll information.
• Develop payroll reports and KPI dashboards.
• Lead audits and resolve discrepancies to maintain compliance.
