Capital One in Houston seeks a Global Payment Network Director of Risk Advisory to lead risk management for network and merchant businesses worldwide. You will guide compliance, regulatory alignment, and advisory services across schemes like PULSE and Discover, reporting to the Global Risk Management team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.
• 8+ years of legal, compliance, or risk management experience OR 8+ years of regulatory experience in consumer financial services or payments.
• At least 4 years of people management experience.
• At least 4 years of experience consulting with and presenting to executive leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with first and second line functions to analyze risk management framework for network and merchant services.
• Provide advice and challenge on risks impacting network and merchant businesses through formal and informal engagements.
• Advise business leaders on regulatory requirements, policies, and industry standards.
• Develop expert-level understanding of end-to-end network and merchant processes worldwide.
• Identify trends in business data and risks in the payments space and regulatory landscape.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in global payments regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ensure ongoing application of compliance to expansions and new products across markets.
• Develop relationships across Compliance, Legal, and Audit to strengthen risk governance.
• Coach and develop team members and support career growth in Risk Advisory.
• Support regulatory exam preparation and engagement delivery.
• Participate in leadership reporting and drive risk-informed decision making.
