Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Global Pathology Quality Control Scientist to independently perform QC of anatomic and/or clinical pathology data, specimens and reports. The role may flex to necropsy/histology support for regulatory studies while developing and validating high‑complexity methods.

Minimum requirements include a biology bachelor’s with 6+ years or a Master’s with 4+ years in a GLP environment, plus strong communication and training abilities. On-site US location with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field with equivalent experience; 6+ years
• Master's degree with 4+ years in GLP environment is acceptable
• Experience in quality control and regulatory compliance is required

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control of anatomic and/or clinical pathology data, specimens and reports
• Maintain compliance with Good Laboratory Practices and animal welfare regulations
• Interact with and train staff, support necropsy and histology procedures as needed
• Develop, validate and document new methods for high-complexity assays
• Ensure study report timelines and data integrity for publications
