Qualifications

• MS (or equivalent) in technical subjects and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Optical technologies and fabrication processes (III-V, SiPhotonics, PLCs, fiber arrays).
• Deep technical expertise on optical and non-optical components used in optical systems.
• Knowledge of Optical Communications, Photonics and Networking industry ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry knowledge of optics fabrication technologies and market trends.
• Collaborate with BU partners to map requirements into supply base offering.
• Define sourcing decisions aligned with commodity strategy and assess risks.
• Participate in large programs with multiple players and locations.
• Manage supplier relationships during development and NPI through product release.
• Negotiate and drive terms of NDAs, DLAs, and SOWs.
• Develop analytics to translate data into technical and business insights.
• Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term sourcing strategies.
• Identify solutions to complex technical and business challenges.
