Job summary

Tensec is hiring a Director of Operations to build and scale the treasury backend and AI-assisted compliance and onboarding flows across markets. You will own day-to-day operational, legal, and cross-functional questions and partner with the COO/CPO to deliver a robust, scalable operations machine.

We seek 8+ years in fintech operations, a builder mindset, high agency, and fluency in English, with multi-jurisdictional experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in operations, treasury operations, or financial infrastructure, preferably fintech or cross-border.
• Builder mindset: design for higher complexity and scale.
• High agency: own outcomes and fix issues proactively.
• Cross-border operations experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese a meaningful plus for LATAM exposure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first operational contact for day-to-day questions from the COO, CPO, and senior managers.
• Advise product on onboarding and legal requirements; coordinate legal reviews and ensure backend aligns with frontend promises.
• Support PMO with cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment across teams.
• Oversee AI-assisted operations while ensuring responsible deployment and governance.
• Build a treasury backend orchestration layer to enable multi-rail, multi-market operations.
• Expand vendor networks and onboard partners as new markets enter the business.
• Collaborate with engineering/product to enhance orchestration tech for scalable treasury operations.
• Define risk framework requirements to support program ownership, not replace it.
