Role requires strong ocean freight expertise, commercial awareness, and a passion for developing people; responsible for delivering compliant, cost-effective service and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ freight forwarding/logistics experience.
• Strong ocean import experience.
• 3+ years’ people management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large ocean import operations team.
• Oversee bookings, carriers, transportation and cargo delivery.
• Manage key customer, vendor and service-provider relationships.
• Ensure compliance with customs, trade and import regulations.
• Monitor KPIs, costs, service levels and operational performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Analyse performance data and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver seamless end-to-end service.
