AbbVie Inc. in Florham Park, NJ (also Boston or Mettawa) seeks a senior scientific/medical leader in neuroimmunology to guide strategic medical affairs across early and late development.

The role partners with commercial, HEOR, and market access to influence product strategies and launch readiness. Reporting to the Global Head of Neuroscience Pipeline, you will oversee advisory boards, data generation, and scientific communications while leading a cross-functional team in a hybrid work

Formación

• Advanced degree required; post-doctoral/residency preferred.
• Senior Director: 10+ years in trials or medical affairs; ~15 years total.
• Executive Medical Director: MD with 5+ years in trials/medical affairs; ~7+ years total.
• Leadership and global cross-functional team management experience.
• Neuroimmunology expertise with strategic capability.
• Proven ability to lead clinical studies or medical affairs teams.
• Knowledge of trial methodology, regulatory requirements, and protocol design.
• Excellent English written and oral communication.
• People management experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support indications and projects with cross-functional teams.
• Initiate and manage medical affairs activities, data generation, dissemination.
• Provide scientific support for assets, present, engage with key opinion leaders.
• Guide Target Product Profiles, contribute to trial design, lead Phase 3b/4 strategies.
• Plan and execute advisory boards and education programs for stakeholders.
• Stay current on literature; initiate and publish research projects.
• Lead cross-functional projects including data analysis and collaborations.
• Represent Medical Affairs in due diligence for asset acquisitions.
• Ensure initiatives meet budget, timeline, and compliance.
• Manage a team of high-performing colleagues.
