Job summary

Cloudflare in Austin, TX is seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer to help build and expand our global network infrastructure. You will collaborate with SRE, Network Engineering, and vendors to plan deployments, rack installations, and cross-connects while applying strong Linux skills and scripting to automate tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center or Linux systems administration experience.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Saltstack, Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
• Experience supporting network hardware and datacenter operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with infrastructure, network engineering, and SRE teams.
• Coordinate datacenter installations, upgrades, and cross-connects globally with remote contractors.
• Develop and implement consistent processes and automation to improve deployment speed and reliability.
