Job summary

Nscale in New York is hiring a NetSuite Functional Lead to own NetSuite configuration and design as our finance processes scale globally. You will be the NetSuite subject matter expert, partnering with finance process owners and reporting to the Director, Finance Tech.

You will decide how best to meet Finance's needs through configuration, customization, or process change, and advise when another system is a better fit.

Qualifications

• NetSuite experience in-house or consulting, end-to-end implementations.
• Administered NetSuite post go-live through close cycles/upgrades.
• Experience with intercompany, multi-currency, consolidation, and revenue recognition.
• Act as thought partner to Finance on system design and accounting impact.
• Managed competing requests from multiple finance teams.
• AI tools experience a plus.
• NetSuite certification is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Configure NetSuite's COA, subsidiaries, revenue recognition, and fixed assets.
• Decide configuration vs customization vs process change.
• Collaborate with engineering on design for customisations.
• Lead requirements gathering, functional design, and new entity/module rollouts, incl. training.
• Own release management: UAT, deployment, change control, upgrades.
• Advise on NetSuite capability and fit of other systems.
• Build/save searches, reports, dashboards, and SuiteAnalytics content.
• Manage roles, permissions, provisioning, and audit evidence.
