Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned expatriate tax professional to support global mobility projects, from equity reporting to CoC administration, serving high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients with expatriate populations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in global mobility/expatriate tax or international assignment services.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. federal/state rules, international tax treaties, and totalization agreements.
• Proven experience reviewing returns, equalization, gross-ups, and mobility cost projections.
• Strong program/project management, stakeholder communication, and QA skills.

Responsibilities

• Equity reporting and CoC form administration; drive process improvements from assignment initiation through repatriation.
• Review and sign U.S. tax returns for HNW individuals and expatriates; ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
• Deliver expatriate tax advisory, including planning, equalization reviews, gross-ups, estimates and cost projections.
• Represent clients before tax authorities and sign correspondence when engaged as representative.
• Educate stakeholders; develop trainings on taxation of foreign nationals, residency rules, and treaties.
• Advise on relocation policies and research treaties to support positions.
