Job summary
Drivemode, a part of Honda, seeks a visionary Director of Product for Mobile to lead the strategy, development, and execution of world-class connected services that delight Honda and Acura customers globally. This role is pivotal to positioning Honda as a leader in SDV and EV software.
You will own the companion app roadmap, drive customer-centric innovation, and work with Honda teams in Japan and the US to meet regional and global needs.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of product management experience delivering consumer-facing mobile apps.
- Leadership experience with at least 4 years of people management.
- Deep understanding of product development, UX/UI, andmobile app technologies.
- Experience in large corporations and startups is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Honda’s companion app and related systems.
- Drive customer-centric innovation using data, research and market insights.
- Collaborate with Honda teams in Japan and the US to align priorities globally.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product team committed to excellence.
- Partner with engineering and design to ensure efficient delivery of solutions.
- Champion best practices for product management and technical integration.
- Travel 10-15% to Los Angeles and Tokyo as needed.
