Job summary

GLOBO Language Solutions, LLC seeks a Mobile Engineer to drive its mobile apps on iOS and Android. You will work under the Director of Engineering to advance our language services platform and its omnichannel experiences.

You will implement features, ensure quality through tests, review code, and help manage technical debt while delivering exceptional interfaces and user experiences. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in CS/IS or related field.
• 3+ years in mobile development (iOS and/or Android).
• Experience with Swift/Objective-C (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android).
• Familiarity with cross‑platform tech stack is a plus (React/Native/Flutter).
• Experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs into apps and distribution knowledge (App Store/Play Store).
• CI/CD for mobile and mobile testing (XC Test/Espresso/Appium).
• Strong UI/UX sense and clear written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and improve existing mobile apps.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs to ensure high-quality user experience.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Perform code reviews of mobile applications.
• Document feature changes and assess downstream impact.
• Manage technical debt to improve developer happiness and efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.
