Job summary

Dexis in Washington, DC seeks a Project Director to lead the East Asian and Pacific MELS contract. This senior role provides contract performance oversight, directs multidisciplinary teams, and serves as the principal Government contact.

The position starts part-time with scalable growth as taskings expand. You will ensure timely, high-quality deliverables, supervise staff, manage risk and quality assurance, and coordinate with Department of State stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in international development, public policy, public administration, economics, political science, social sciences, program evaluation, monitoring and evaluation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience managing complex international development, monitoring and evaluation, performance management, research, learning, or foreign assistance programs.
• Minimum of 7 years in senior management roles directing large, multi-country programs or contracts.
• Experience managing US Government contracts, preferably for the Department of State, USAID, or Federal agencies.
• Experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams across monitoring, evaluation, learning, research, and capacity-building.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the Contractor and the Government.
• Provide overall management, technical oversight, and direction for all contract activities.
• Oversee tasking responses and deliverable execution from initiation through acceptance.
• Lead work planning, staffing, and resource allocation across assignments.
• Supervise personnel and ensure timely, quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective task execution.
