Job summary

Northeastern University’s Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship Program, in partnership with Takeda Global Medical Affairs, offers a two-year Global Medical Affairs Fellowship based in Cambridge, MA. Fellows work with cross-functional teams, engage in scientific communications, and pursue leadership rotations while advancing clinical insights for healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy degree (ACPE accredited), eligible for MA licensure.
PhD in biological or physical sciences is also acceptable.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong time management and leadership abilities; capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

Lead or contribute to medical affairs strategic activities across rotations.
Complete mandatory teaching, recruiting, and professional development tasks.
Mentor/train less-experienced Fellows in program activities.
Enhance knowledge through literature review, competitive intelligence, and scientific landscape analysis.
Assist in planning medical congresses, advisory boards, and patient-facing materials.
Review promotional and non-promotional materials per SOPs and standards.
