Qualifications

• 7+ years of media relations experience with global brands or agencies and leadership experience.
• Proven ability to secure coverage in Tier 1 outlets (e.g., NYT, Bloomberg, CNN).
• Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
• Experience leading issues and crisis communications.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across complex organizations.
• Experience building cross-functional partnerships and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of media relations professionals, setting priorities and driving proactive strategies.
• Develop and execute integrated media strategies across traditional and emerging platforms.
• Cultivate relationships with influential journalists, editors, producers, and creators.
• Lead rapid-response efforts and manage sensitive inquiries with discretion.
• Oversee development of press materials, pitches, and executive messaging.
• Establish KPIs and reporting to optimize media impact and trends.
