Job summary

CCR Commercial Refrigeration seeks a Mechanical Systems Project Manager to lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of CO₂ racks, heat pumps, and condensing units.

You will partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, and others to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality expectations, reporting to the Engineering Director, North America. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven PM experience in product development, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional and international teams.
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Six Sigma or CI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development and sustain engineering projects from concept through launch.
• Define scope, objectives, timelines, and success criteria.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Drive effective communication across project teams and provide status updates to leadership.
• Oversee the design, development, and continuous improvement of CO₂ refrigeration racks, heat pumps, and condensing units.
• Research emerging technologies, industry trends, regulations, and competitive products to support innovation.
• Evaluate, qualify, and onboard new components and suppliers while maintaining strong technical partnerships.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, product specifications, regulatory documentation, and project reports.
• Coordinate prototype builds and special product orders, supporting manufacturing through testing and validation.
• Support new product industrialization activities, including ERP data management and product configuration.
• Drive continuous product improvement by incorporating feedback from customers and operations.
• Ensure products comply with UL, ETL, DOE, ASHRAE, CE, and other certifications.
• Monitor project KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement, and capture lessons learned.
• Initial long-term travel is required; periodic travel for support and events will occur.
