Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking an experienced Director of Global Category Management in Mechanical to lead procurement for mechanical cooling equipment used in data centers. This role requires managing the procurement lifecycle and ensuring effective supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years in mechanical equipment supply chain and a deep understanding of data center infrastructures. This position is flexible with locations in Seattle, Denver, Austin or Alexandria, and offers a salary range from $180,000 to $225,000 with annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Mechanical Equipment supply chain, including experience with data center mission critical infrastructure.
• Experience in fast-paced, large-scale infrastructure or data center projects.
• Deep understanding of industry-specific vendors and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies.
• Lead end-to-end RFx processes from initiation through supplier selection.
• Manage supplier onboarding, qualification, and new product development.
