Job summary

Applied Materials in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a materials delivery professional to manage on-time delivery from suppliers and coordinate sub-tier schedules in a fast-paced environment. You will track parts delivery, resolve shortages, and provide timely material status updates while building trust with stakeholders and reducing risks to milestones.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field with strong supply chain foundations.
• Minimum 3 years of material delivery management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience communicating across manufacturing, procurement and logistics teams.
• Experience with procurement, expediting, and multi-tier supply chain delivery is a plus.
• Familiarity with NPI/build processes and production transitions.

Responsibilities

• Direct ownership of regular tracking and ensuring on-time delivery committed from suppliers.
• Tracking and management of sub-tier supplier schedules for constrained manufacturing processes.
• Develop plans and execute delivery schedule improvements when commitments miss dates.
• Coordinate material transfers between indirect expense and production warehouses.
• Perform SAP transactions for material movement accurately and on time.
• Work with suppliers and program teams to track parts delivery.
• Resolve part shortages, delays, and material issues, including sell-backs from inventory.
• Provide periodic material status updates to the cross-functional program team.
• Participate in build readiness reviews with risk assessments and recovery plans.
