Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Corporate Materials Analyst to analyze global commodity data and provide actionable insights to maximize opportunities and mitigate supply chain risk within the corporate Supply Chain organization.

The role requires 2+ years in procurement or commodity management, strong Excel (Pivot Tables) and Power BI skills, and experience with ERP systems. You will prepare reports and collaborate across teams to improve data quality and processes.

Qualifications

2+ years of procurement or commodity management experience.
Strong Excel and Power BI skills; proficiency with PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Word.
ERP systems experience (Infor LN, Baan, Kinaxis).

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to optimize cost position for build-to-print commodity categories.
Conduct global market research including analysis of raw material pricing dynamics.
Analyze data and prepare summary reports, spreadsheets and charts from multiple data sources.
Prepare and analyze metrics to identify supplier performance trends.
Audit data, challenge and resolve data integrity issues and present findings to the responsible manager.
Assist in process standardization and provide improvement recommendations for metric tracking.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive data clean-up efforts.
Engage with suppliers to reconcile data and metric discrepancies.
Monitor regulatory changes and international trade conditions impacting commodities.
