Job summary

Southern Arkansas University in New York offers a 10-week Sophomore Global Markets Summer Analyst Program with 3 rotations in EQD and/or FIC. You will gain desk exposure, learn multi-asset structure and trading practices on a dynamic trading floor at a global bank.

Undergraduates graduating between December 2028 and June 2029 are eligible; freshmen Class of 2029 are primary group. Compensation is $100,000 base pro-rated for the 10 weeks, with no benefits or overtime included in base range.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate basic knowledge of global markets and a strong academic record.
• Preferred Majors: Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or Liberal Arts (all majors encouraged).
• Key Traits: Team collaboration, innovative thinking, adaptability, and enthusiasm for the financial sector.
• Eligibility: Undergraduate student graduating between December 2028 and June 2029 (Class of 2029 freshmen are primary eligible).

Responsibilities

• Trading Desk Exposure: gain insight into over 30 trading desks across equities, fixed income and commodities.
• Client Dynamics: understand trades by hedge funds, insurers, pension funds and corporate accounts.
• Hedging Analysis: analyze trading desk hedging strategies and risk exposures.
