Bank of China is seeking an internship candidate in New York to support US fixed income market research and daily reports. The role involves MTM and relative value tasks, as well as collaboration with middle and back offices to advance cross-department initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalence; junior/senior acceptable.
  • Coding languages include SQL, R, Python, Java, and C++ – knowledge is a plus.
  • Basic research knowledge; experience in global FICC and fixed income preferred.
  • Basic writing and macro knowledge required.
  • Mandarin and English bilingual ability preferred.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to collaborate on research projects in a team.
  • Solid work ethic and high motivation are essential.

Responsibilities

  • US Fixed Income Daily MTM Report.
  • US Fixed Income Daily Relative Value Report.
  • Daily operation contact with middle office and back office.
  • CIBM efforts including bond investment & hedge related work across front/middle/back offices.
  • Mortgage related valuation, prepayment etc.
  • Macro & monetary policy research.
  • Monthly Report with ESG/CRA projects
