Job summary

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly in writing and speaking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to work independently and in a team and to meet performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cargo damages and determine nature, cause, and extent of damages.
• Review documents to determine when damage occurred and provide written opinions to underwriters.
• Oversee loading/unloading operations and document damages.
• Inspect damaged ships to determine cause and amount of damage.
• Travel as required and support quality programs.
