Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Global OT Data Architect to define and govern the data architecture strategy for manufacturing. You will standardize data platforms, ensure secure data movement to IT and cloud environments, and lead governance across sites and assets.

The role drives analytics, AI/ML solutions, dashboards, and predictive capabilities, collaborating with engineering, data science, and IT teams to deliver scalable, global solutions and advanced manufacturing intelligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience (or higher) in a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing data systems or related field.
• 5+ years of demonstrated leadership across global projects or teams.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking of English.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the global OT data architecture strategy and data pipelines.
• Lead governance to ensure standardized contextualization across sites, assets, and processes.
• Drive analytics enablement with dashboards, trending, alerting, and AI/ML deployment for manufacturing use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to scale pilots into global solutions.
