Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Strategic Planning Program Manager (SPM) to join Global Engineering Services NA and drive process initiatives across the North American network. You will act as a trusted advisor to pillar leaders, resolve blockers, and develop standard mechanisms to align teams and optimize operations.

This role involves end-to-end program management, collaboration with engineers and operations, and up to 50% travel. When not traveling, work from a corporate office and relocate if needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field.
• Position includes travel up to 50% (Nationwide). Travel involves air travel to regional airports and driving to site locations.

Responsibilities

• High degree of organization – manage and prioritize scope and coordinate meetings.
• Dealing with ambiguity & Strategic problem solving – craft solutions and own outcomes.
• Written and verbal communication – produce concise documents and presentations for leadership.
