Job summary

CACI International Inc on Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD seeks a Logistics Specialist to manage the full life cycle of government and contractor assets. You will plan, track, and optimize inventory, coordinate shipments domestically and internationally, and ensure compliance with regulatory and export controls.

Role requires teamwork with engineering and government stakeholders, data analysis for reporting, and attention to detail. TS/SCI eligibility preferred and GFP knowledge essential.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required or ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Experience in logistics management, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of GFP accountability and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for data analysis.
• Experience using inventory or asset management systems (e.g., COLTS).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management for government-owned and contractor-managed property.
• Analyze inventory levels, usage trends, and logistics requirements for planning and forecasting.
• Manage logistics documentation, records, and reporting of transactions and asset accountability.
• Use COLTS or similar systems to track, reconcile, and report assets.
• Coordinate domestic and international transportation, including hazardous materials, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Review shipping classifications and regulatory requirements for proper handling.
• Serve as logistics point of contact for international shipping, customs, and providers.
• Prepare purchase requests and logistics recommendations based on needs.
• Support audits and compliance reviews with data analysis and documentation.
