Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in USA (Chester) is seeking a Pricing Analyst to quote Air & Sea shipments within the established pricing framework. You will collaborate with sales and operations to understand customer needs and craft pricing proposals that support growth and retention.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, data handling skills, and excellent communication. A bachelor’s in business/economics/math is preferred; experience with pricing in logistics is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a pricing or analytical role in the transportation and logistics industry.
• 6+ years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry.
• Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and timely quotes within the defined pricing system to support Operations or Sales Customer requests.
• Work closely with sales and operations teams to understand customer needs and develop pricing proposals that meet those needs.
• Analyze pricing data and trends to identify areas where pricing strategies need attention and optimization.
• Monitor individual pricing performance and identify areas where improvements are needed to win business.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
• Support the maintenance of the pricing databases.
