Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, International Business, and/or Logistics Management.
• Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supply chain coordination by helping to track shipments, inventory levels, and delivery timelines across international markets.
• Support logistics planning by working with cross-functional teams to optimize transportation routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery efficiency.
• Data analysis: Compile and analyze logistics data (e.g., shipping costs, delivery times, inventory turnover) to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Help ensure compliance with global trade regulations, customs requirements, and import/export documentation.
• Vendor and carrier coordination: Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping companies to manage transportation schedules and resolve any issues.
• Assist in project management of logistics-related initiatives aimed at improving overall supply chain operations.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on logistics performance metrics, operational efficiencies, and potential areas for improvement.
• Support logistics technology systems by helping with the integration and use of supply chain management software tools.
