Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Aurora, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator to move, stack, and count merchandise, with potential Order Filler and Checker duties. You will ensure safe, accurate receiving, storing and shipping in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Receiving/Put-Away: unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations; input data into WMS.
• Order Picking: pull and prepare for shipment; ensure correct quantities and types are loaded.
• Quality: ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free; report variances.
• Delivery: move product to staging/production lines; ensure proper documentation accompanies freight.
• Inventory: maintain records/reports for tight stock control; assist in physical inventories.
