Terumo Medical Corporation seeks a strategic sourcing leader to develop and execute a global IT category strategy, ensuring best value, innovation and risk mitigation across suppliers worldwide.

You will drive procurement excellence, manage complex sourcing projects, and align with technology roadmaps while partnering with Finance, Legal and IT leaders. Strong negotiation and global sourcing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management, with IT focus.
• Experience managing global sourcing initiatives and multinational stakeholder environments.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex, high-value contracts with global technology suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing, cloud services, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecom, and IT services procurement.
• Experience developing category strategies and delivering measurable value through supplier optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global IT category sourcing strategy to maximize value and mitigate risk.
• Lead high-value sourcing projects and provide executive-level recommendations.
• Drive supplier consolidation, contract standardization and global SRM initiatives.
• Collaborate with Global IT, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to align sourcing with strategic goals.
• Monitor supplier performance with KPIs and governance structures.
