Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Company is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join the Global Audit team. This role provides independent assurance and risk management oversight across Colgate-Palmolive’s global operations, reporting to the Director of Corporate Audit.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) mandatory.
• 4+ years of experience in Finance.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%-70% of the time, majority international travel.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs/ Sheets/Slides), Microsoft and/or DOMO reports.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Working knowledge of business and financial processes and internal controls (GAAP, SOX, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Obtain and analyze business data to assess risks, prepare comprehensive audit planning memorandums, conduct detailed audit testing, and ensure testing is completed on schedule and fully documented in compliance with departmental standards.
• Prepare agendas and presentations for audit meetings, lead discussions with key stakeholders, and draft audit reports for Senior Audit Management and executive review to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
• Direct, support, and review the work of staff auditors to ensure compliance with audit programs and quality standards, while providing on-the-job training, timely performance feedback, and day-to-day guidance.
• Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with local business unit personnel worldwide and collaborate with corporate personnel for clarification and application of policies and procedures.
• Leverage AI-driven tools and data analytics to optimize audit workflows, proactively contribute to digital solutions that enhance team productivity, and conduct special management-requested reviews.
