Job summary

M1 Global — part of the Specialized family of brands — is seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst for an embedded role at a client in Santa Monica, CA. You will set analytical standards, supervise watch officers, and deliver strategic risk assessments across the client footprint.

This full-time, exempt position requires eight+ years in intelligence analysis, leadership experience, and expertise in protective intelligence tools.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in intelligence analysis, including three years leading or reviewing others.
• Written analytical writing standard, rubric or source grading policy used by others.
• Structured analytic techniques, cognitive bias mitigation, source evaluation and open-source tradecraft.
• Proven analytical writing under time pressure; a sample is required at interview.
• Corporate protective intelligence experience.

Responsibilities

• Own analytical standards and the release gate; justify calls to publish or rework.
• Lead watch officer supervisors and ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Produce recurring strategic risk assessments for the client footprint.
• Engage on declared incidents within 30 minutes; provide timely, defendable analyses.
• Own the intelligence side of handoffs to physical security operations and report metrics monthly.
